The panacea called blogging
Its been a long hibernation and thankfully its ending today as i emerge the weary toad tired of inactivity. Its been an incredibly boring week and today is no different. To add to the woes, i have this terrible cold with a running nose and a sore throat. Nothing in the world irks you more than this state of limbo which neither qualifies you a sick person nor gives you any respite from the constant sneezing and drousiness.
I am sorry to say but its a disreputable disease. It creates this aura around you of 'feigning unwellness'. Afterall, who hasnt used this trick as a ruse to avoid going to school or doing homework on time. I sometime have this feeling that only the most cursed of human beings fall prey to common cold and i can surely hear the gods laughing mad. For the last three days I have been sleeping with this hope of either waking up hale and hearty or having a complete crash only to find that i am still treading the borders.
May be i am overreacting and common cold is only to common to be taken seriously. That is why i hate it evenmore. I detest medicines and having to gulp down pills with this bad aftertaste which ruins your day. And the way they function is by making you feel more sleepy and more dumb. On the whole an entirely unwholesome affair.
So to god here i pray: hello Mr. Almighty!! Kindly bestow my suffering soul with the ability to withstand the misery that is common cold.
But the gods are busy watching the damsels performing the remixed item numbers. So to blogging i turn and the love of internet is to be my panacea. Here i write and forget the demons of ..oops i have already forgotten the name!!
